Cursors Preferences
This set of preferences is used to control the appearance of the cursors.

- Painting Cursors
- There are four different ways to display your painting cursors. As you click on each option, the preview thumbnail above and to the right will change to display the appearance of the option you've chosen.
- Standard displays an icon of the tool, such as the Brush.
- Precise displays a crosshair.
- Normal Brush Tip displays the cursor at a size that doesn't take any feathering into account.
- Full Brush Tip shows the cursor size including any feathered areas.
Show Only Crosshair While Painting. When your cursor is set to Normal Brush Tip or Full Brush Tip a crosshair will be displayed only while you're pressing down on the mouse button to paint.
- Other Cursors
- These settings determine how the cursor is to appear for tools not used for painting, such as the Crop tool, Selection tools, Eyedropper, etc. This section also has a preview thumbnail that displays the appearance of the option you've chosen.
- Brush Preview
- This colour swatch can be clicked on to change the paint colour in the brush tip preview thumbnail.
Cursors Preferences Summary
- The Cursors Preferences are used to set the appearance of the cursors.
- The Painting Cursors option sets the appearance of the painting tools.
- The appearance of the other tools is determined through the Other Cursors settings.
- The Brush Preview is used to set the paint colour of the preview in the Painting Cursors section.
