So what is this thing called DHTML? This section of the course will explain just that. It will explain what composes DHTML, how it is used, and discuss why you would want to use it.

Here is a summary of some of the topics in this lecture:

(1) What is DHTML?: This lecture will discuss what DHTML is, how it came to be, as well as what DHTML is made up of.

(2) Applications of DHTML: DHTML has many applications on the World Wide Web. In this lecture, we will look at some of these applications.

(3) Why Use DHTML?: Why would you want to use DHTML? Why use DHTML instead of Macromedia Flash? This lecture will attempt to answer these questions for you.
